Our Family

  • Robert and I were married in 2001 and have been blessed with 4 beautiful children: Leah, Mae, Isaac & Aaron. They are the joy of our lives. For the last 7 years this blog has been the story of our journey through life. In November 2008 Leah was diagnosed with Leukemia and our blog became not only the story of our lives, but the story of our everyday struggle with childhood cancer. Read along as we live, we love and we fight Leukemia.

Welcome to the Support Page for Leah Nash (Robert and Sarah Nash family). Many of you have asked "What can I do to help Leah and family?"....the answers are all here!

Leah and her family are facing a very long, turbulent road ahead. Between chemotherapy, managing a family (four children under the age of 7), and a bone marrow transplant that will require out of state hospitalization and residency for some of the family for four long months, the needs are vast. The needs will NOT wane over the next few months so please continue to log onto this site and check in on a regular basis.

LOTSA HELPING HANDS!

In order to manage the support, from "hands on" to financial, all needs and information are being coordinated through a central site called "Lotsa Helping Hands". You'll need to "become a Subpage_icons_lotsa_helping_hands member"of the community but it only takes a moment. After joining, I'll be approving requests and you'll have full access to support information.

We know that there is a large support community for Leah and family. Please join the online community so that we can do our best to coordinate our efforts in empowering the best possible care for Leah.

As mentioned, with the road leading to a bone marrow transplant out of state (not considering the challenges faced during the current phase of Leah's treatment) the Nash family is facing a financial debt situation that many of us will never see.To help relieve some of this burden, you can partner with them through the following means:
