We're happy to share some exciting news...
A dear friend of ours from Louisville, KY has partnered with the Leukeima & Lymphoma Society "Team in Training" Program to run a half marathon inspired by Leah! This is a wonderful program from the LLS that has trained over a half a million runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists and hikers... AND raised over $1.2 billion to fund lifesaving cancer research!
This is near and dear to our heart and it's an honor that Leah's fight is being celebrated in this way!
The race is the Iron Horse Half Marathon in Midway, KY on October 14th. This is going to be a special day - Leah is set on attending the race and is planning on being with the team as they cross the finish line. All of our friends here are invited to come as well! Along with Leah's name the team will also be putting names on their race jersey of other survivors as well as people who have lost their lives to cancer. If you have someone you'd like to honor please let us know!
